The Golden Age of Jewelry...

I've always been a fan of vintage costume jewelry made during the golden age of jewelry. The pieces that were produced by the top designers in the 30's, 40's, 50's were creative and exquisitely made. These designers fueled my passion for jewelry and gave me inspiration that, 25 years later, led to creation of my new own jewelry line:  http://www.divinejewelrycreations.com/

I want to give you some insight into my passion for jewelry by sharing a bit of information on those late, great jewelry designers.   Take a look at the links below to see some top designers who worked during that period.  Research names like: Hobe, Vendome, HAR, Elsa Schiaparelli, Schreiner, Barclay McClelland and Miriam Haskell.  These are my personal favorites
This site has great information on how to identify and research vintage costume jewlery:

This is my absouletly favorite site on all things Miriam Haskell:

All things Schreiner:

Of course, there are wonderful designers working today in all types of media but that's a subject for another day's blog.
Cheers
